A Terrifying Murder

The tragedy was realized on Thursday morning when neighbors observed an unusual silence that was coming from the family’s house. The exterior door was long locked out, which suggested something. Local reports indicated that a foul smell later came to emanate out of the room, and the residents called the police.

The Delhi Police was forced to break down the door when they reached the scene. They were full of traces of extreme violence inside. There were four corpses in a pool of stagnant blood. The victims were known as 26-year-old Reena and her three daughters, who are eight-year-old Khushbu, five-year-old Gudiya, and a one-year-old infant.

Details of the Attack

Teams and forensic experts were invited to the scene to gather evidence. The latest news today indicates that the killings were done at least 24-48 hours prior to the finding of the bodies. The cruelty of the crime was found out in the autopsies. The murderer attacked all four victims with an extremely sharp tool that he used to cut their throats.

According to the police, the mutilations were so severe that the victims had their trachea cut to the last bit. The children did not show any sign of a struggle, and this situation made investigators assume that they might be attacked when they were asleep. Reena, who is a few months pregnant, was also unable to defend herself or her children.

The Primary Suspect

Vijay, the husband and father of the victims, is the main suspect. He was a casual laborer, and his family had been staying in the rented place quite a long time. According to the neighbors, the family was usually quiet, but some of them added that there were certain domestic conflicts connected with finances and personal suspicions.

Vijay has not switched on his mobile phone after the finding of the bodies. He failed to report to work, and his relatives have called the police because they have not heard from him. This loss, coupled with the external locking of the room, has led the police to entirely direct all their interest to him as the culprit.

Police Investigation and Manhunt

A murder case has been registered in the Delhi Police, following the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A number of teams of the Outer North district have been assembled to arrest the guilty.

We are looking at every possible angle, but the husband is our major individual of interest, a high-ranking police officer said. We are also examining CCTVs of the adjacent roads to determine his route of escape. We are also interrogating his workmates and family members as to whether he had prepared this beforehand.

Forensic investigators have taken a number of items that are in the house, such as what is thought to be the murder weapon, but this has not been confirmed until laboratory tests are conducted.

Community in Mourning

The neighbourhood of Siraspur is in disbelief because of the incident. Citizens were outside the house as the bodies were being taken to the mortuary. Horror was expressed by many that a father would kill his own young children.

The residents of the area termed the children as mischievous and frequently found in the small streets of the colony. The community has been struck by the image of the police dragging away the small bodies. The search is still going on in Delhi and other neighbouring states to ensure that the accused are brought to justice by the police.
